Do you want to spend a family vacation, far from all stress and close to nature?
We offer you an ""all-inclusive"" stay, accommodation, meals and activities! And what's more: à la carte, we adapt to your request!
One facet of the project of the place is to raise awareness of care for the environment and to open avenues towards sustainable development. We would like to share with you a little of our life around animals and more broadly permaculture.
You will be immersed in farm life: you will be responsible for taking care of our chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, goats, cats, dogs... Very useful in terms of permaculture. You will discover our life to the rhythm of nature. Permaculture is also very attentive to human well-being, a creative workshop will put everyone in the spotlight.
Typical program:
Adaptable to your request and depending on the length of your stay, depending on the age of the participants:
> minimum length of stay: 2 nights (arrival on the first day at 5 p.m., departure on the last day at 11 a.m.)
> minimum number of people: 4 (maximum 12 people)
For a family with children, for example:
Day 1 :
Arrival at 5 p.m. Visit to the place and animals.
7 p.m. Discussion on permaculture around an aperitif. Dinner. Reading a story/nature tale.
Day 2:
8:30 a.m.: breakfast, animal care
10 a.m.: permaculture discovery games
11 a.m.: free time
12 p.m.: lunch
2 p.m.: outing into the forest. Objective: learn to observe, open your 5 senses (search for wild edible and/or medicinal plants of the season, mushrooms, listen to birds, observe animal tracks, etc.)
4 p.m.: free time
6:30 p.m.: animal care
7 p.m.: dinner, cooperative board game evening
Day 3:
8:30 a.m.: breakfast, animal care
10 a.m.: Objective: use and promote biological services and resources.
Land art creations (to take home),
Small project in progress on the site depending on the season to understand a question of permaculture.
For examples:
- what tillage in the vegetable garden? making a lasagna mound
- what are the optimal conditions for plant growth? seedlings or plantations (everyone will take their plant home)
- what use do insects and other small animals have in our environment? creation of a hotel or shelter for small animals, a pond
12 p.m.: lunch
2 p.m.: Objective: recycle, reuse, repair waste
Your choice: recycling wool, sewing, making compost, making objects with waste (feeder, planter, box, shelf, lamp, etc.)
4 p.m.: free time
6:30 p.m.: animal care
7 p.m.: dinner. Campfire, stargazing, stroll listening to the sounds of the night
Day 4:
8:30 a.m.: breakfast, animal care
Free morning, departure at the end of the morning or beginning of the afternoon, if meal: independently
Prices :
The price per person includes accommodation, meals and workshops. Modular according to your wishes (a kitchen is at your disposal in the gîte).
